Civil War Store Card for Ira Brown, Book Dealer in Chicago, Illinois
Fuld  IL150G-3a (copper)     R-7     VF Details - heavy residues, old very light scratches do not reveal fresh metal
Mr. Brown obtained store card tokens from local token maker Shubael Childs.  A single custom die was combined with three stock reverse dies for token production and tokens were struck only on copper planchets.  The most commonly encountered variety is extremely scarce.  This variety is rare and the third variety is extremely rare.
