    Broadway Rubber Emporium was a business selling India rubber goods.  It was owned by Henry Shiffer who also issued other hard rubber tokens under his personal name at the same address as Broadway Rubber Emporium, 603 Broadway.  He was in business from 1860 until his death in 1864.  Though not obvious in the photos, this is a dark brown token.
